In dramatic play we have been exploring items you would find at a New England farm stand this time of year. Children are learning that words and pictures have meaning using the visuals to order at the farm stand.
When we arrive each day we practice writing our names and explor writing & drawing.
Puzzles help with students learn spacial relations. These students are working on a 20 piece farm puzzle.
Students were challenged to build with a friend and try to balance apples up on top. They are also documenting their work on our smart board.
Students are exploring traditional animals that live on a farm while communicating with peers.
Next week we will be discussing our favorite farm animals.
