Scenes from our family visit

Today we welcomed our MWF families into our classroom.

We read the story of the Ginger Bread Baby by Jan Brett, sang the song Family by Laurie Burkner and decorated a gingerbread cookie.

Parent Teacher Conferences

December 8th, 2017 ECDC will be closed for parent teacher conferences.
Please contact the office to set up a time to meet with me. (508) 541-8166.

Just a reminder that conferences are a short period of time to touch base on your child's school experience.   If you recently met with Ms Marylin in regards to your child's school progress you do not need to attend a second meeting but you are always welcome to do so.

To get the most out of your parent teacher conference please:
Arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled time.
Possible email Ms Marylin ahead of time of any concerns, questions you may have.
Be aware that their is a time limit to the conference and we may need to reschedule a longer conference time if we can not discuss everything at this time.
To make the most of your time it is helpful if other arrangements can be made for your child but it is not mandatory.
Conferences should be for celebrations as well as progress update.

Dirty feet?

Did your children come home with dirty feet? Learning is messy work.

To help us learn to count we watched this video:

How many fingers and toes.

And painted/stamped our feet.

It was great fun counting our fingers and toes.

If your child hasn't come home with dirty feet yet don't worry they will on Monday!

Please Join Us Nov 20 or 21 (this note was sent home via back pack)

Dear Families,

Please join us in our preschool classroom as we celebrate families!
We hope to have a family member join us during our school day (see date and times below).  We will read a story, sing songs and decorate a gingerbread cookie.  During this visit we hope to share with you what we've been learning and give you a chance explore our classroom!.

Please limit adults to 1 or 2 per family as lots of adults can be overwhelming for some of our friends. It is also appreciated if other arrangements can be made for siblings so you child can be the star of the day.

I am very excited to share my classroom and friends with you.  Please fill out the form below and return it to school so I knows who to expect.

Thank you
Ms Marylin Bennett
